Erika Kirk assumed leadership of Turning Point USA following the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, in September 2025.
Early Career
Pageantry and Nonprofit Work (2006-2012) At age 18, Kirk founded the nonprofit Everyday Heroes Like You, an organization designed to promote and support under-recognized charities. She won the Miss Arizona USA title in 2012 and competed in Miss USA that same year.
Education Kirk attended Regis University in Denver, where she played NCAA Division II basketball, before completing dual degrees in political science and international relations at Arizona State University. She later earned a Juris Master degree in American Legal Studies from Liberty University in 2017.
Marriage and Public Profile
Relationship with Charlie Kirk (2019-2025) Erika and Charlie Kirk began dating in 2019 and married on May 8, 2021, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Through their marriage, she became increasingly involved with Turning Point USA events and appeared on The Charlie Kirk Show podcast.

CEO Appointment (September 2025) Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, Erika Kirk was named chairwoman and CEO of Turning Point USA.
