Studies four creators — ContraPoints, Philosophy Tube, Shaun and Hbomberguy — and describes BreadTube as 'a loose association of independent online videographers and their surrounding communities that makes up a leftist response to alt-right use of digital media', deriving the name from Kropotkin's *The Conquest of Bread*. Does not cover Vaush. A note previously here credited it with describing the video-essay format as a response to 'anti-SJW' YouTube: the paper contains neither phrase — zero occurrences of 'anti-SJW', 'SJW' or 'video essay' — and the response it describes is to the alt-right, not to anti-SJW YouTube.

Source for the label's derivation from Kropotkin's The Conquest of Bread ('The movement has no clear origin'), and for the point that the label was imposed from outside and that 'there remains a vibrant debate as to who is part of the movement'. Both statements were located in the live page and in the recorded capture. Note that the phrase 'anti-SJW', which a superseded note on the tripleC citation attributed to that paper, does appear here — this article, not the paper, is the source that connects BreadTube to anti-SJW YouTube.
