Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Modern Politics respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the safeguards we maintain.
Information We Collect
- Site Analytics — None. The site is a static site with no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking scripts.
- Page Feedback — The feedback button on each page sends the page URL, the category you select, and the description you write. It records nothing else — no name, no email, no account. If you put identifying information in the description, it is stored along with the rest of the report. Reports are filed in the project’s issue tracker, hosted by GitHub and governed by GitHub’s privacy policy.
How We Use Information
- To respond to correction requests, inquiries, and collaboration offers
- To prioritize which pages get fixed or expanded
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
- Feedback reports are retained as issues in the project’s tracker for as long as they are useful as a record of what was reported and what changed.
Updates to This Policy
We will update this policy when our data practices change. Major revisions are announced on the Blog / Updates page.
