   115th Congress. Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act of 2017, Pub. L. No. 115-164, 132 Stat. 1253. (2018). Enrolled text as signed, at 132 Stat. 1253 and marked 'Approved April 11, 2018'. Section 4 amends section 230(e) of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 230(e)) by adding paragraph (5), 'No effect on sex trafficking law'. This citation previously pointed at govinfo's /app/details/ package page, which is a JavaScript shell carrying no statutory text; it now points at the text rendition, which was read.

   U.S. Government Accountability Office. Sex Trafficking: Online Platforms and Federal Prosecutions (GAO-21-385). (2021). Published 21 June 2021, examining DOJ enforcement from 2014 through 2020. Source for the statement that federal prosecutors had charged under FOSTA once as of 2020: 'In June 2020, DOJ brought one case under the criminal provision established by section 3 of FOSTA', and prosecutors 'have not brought more cases ... because the law is relatively new and prosecutors have had success using other criminal statutes'. Used instead of the broader claim that the law caused widespread platform changes, which this report does not support.

   craigslist. FOSTA. (2018). craigslist's own standing notice, still served at this path, explaining that it removed its personals section in response to the Act: 'US Congress recently passed HR 1865, "FOSTA" ... Any tool or service can be misused. We can't take such risk without jeopardizing all our other services, so we have regretfully taken craigslist personals offline.' The only first-party source located for a platform attributing a closure to this law.
