On 6 August 2018 Apple removed five of six Infowars podcasts, Facebook unpublished four Alex Jones and Infowars Pages, YouTube terminated the Alex Jones Channel, and Spotify removed all episodes of The Alex Jones Show, each citing its own content policies.

Four platforms remove Infowars content in one day, citing their content policies.

Within a single day, Apple, Facebook, YouTube and Spotify took action against Alex Jones and Infowars content, each under its own policies. Apple removed five of the six Infowars podcasts from its podcast directory, stating that it “does not tolerate hate speech.” Facebook unpublished four Pages, including the InfoWars Page, for repeated violations of its Community Standards, citing its graphic violence and hate speech policies, and placed Jones, as a Page administrator, in a 30-day block. YouTube terminated the Alex Jones Channel, which had about 2.4 million subscribers, for violating its Community Guidelines. Spotify, which had removed selected episodes the previous week, removed all episodes of The Alex Jones Show.
