Fox Corporation reports Nielsen-estimated subscriber households of 55 million for FOX News as of 30 June 2026, down from 61 million a year earlier — a decline the company attributes to industry-wide falls in linear television subscription. It states that FOX News has been the top-rated national cable news channel in Monday-to-Friday primetime viewing for over 24 consecutive years, and that in fiscal 2026 it finished as the #1 cable network in weekday primetime and total-day viewing among total viewers for the eleventh consecutive year, with ratings the company describes as comparable to those of the four broadcast networks in weekday primetime.

Digital Extensions

Fox Corporation describes FOX Nation, a subscription video-on-demand service, and FOX Weather, a free ad-supported streaming channel, as digital brand extensions of FOX News Media. FOX News content also appears on FOX One, the company’s direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service. FOX News produces a weekend political commentary programme, FOX News Sunday.

Competitive Position

Fox Corporation names the broadcast networks’ national news divisions and the cable news networks CNN and MS NOW as FOX News’ primary competition, and CNBC and Bloomberg Television as FOX Business’.
