Ben Shapiro is a political commentator who co-founded The Daily Wire and hosts its flagship programme, The Ben Shapiro Show.

The Daily Wire’s own account is that the company was “conceived by Ben Shapiro and Jeremy Boreing” and launched in 2015 with a $4.7 million initial investment from Farris Wilks, reaching cash flow positive in its fourteenth month. Caleb Robinson joined as a partner. The Daily Wire, LLC is wholly owned by Bentkey Ventures, LLC and, the company says, remains majority owned by its original co-founders.

The company’s subscription service, DailyWire+, is an umbrella covering The Daily Wire itself, Jordan Peterson’s output, PragerU, films and Bentkey. It describes its podcast operation as “America’s 6th largest podcast publisher”.

The Daily Wire is unusual among the media organizations covered on this site in stating its position outright rather than claiming neutrality: “The Daily Wire does not claim to be without bias. We’re opinionated, we’re noisy, and we’re having a good time.”

Apple’s podcast directory lists The Ben Shapiro Show with The Daily Wire as its publisher, a retained catalogue of 2,000 episodes and a release as recent as 31 August 2026. Apple exposes no public RSS feed for it, which is what one would expect of a programme whose full distribution runs through a paid subscription rather than open podcast infrastructure.

The previous version of this page contained almost no sourceable content: it asserted follower counts on two platforms, an unsourced account of “early YouTube political commentary”, a 2015 podcast start date, and a series of characterizations of his delivery and content strategy. All were removed. His birth year is retained pending a source; it is not corroborated by anything cited here.
