Erika Kirk became a nationally prominent figure in political organizing after assuming leadership of Turning Point USA following the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, in September 2025.

Early Career

Pageantry and Nonprofit Work (2006-2012) At age 18, Kirk founded the nonprofit Everyday Heroes Like You, an organization designed to promote and support under-recognized charities. She won the Miss Arizona USA title in 2012 and competed in Miss USA that same year.

Education Kirk attended Regis University in Denver, where she played NCAA Division II basketball, before completing dual degrees in political science and international relations at Arizona State University. She later earned a Juris Master degree in American Legal Studies from Liberty University in 2017.
