Biography
Ethan Klein is a YouTube creator and podcast host. He and Hila Klein launched the H3 Podcast channel in 2017, building on the h3h3Productions channel’s commentary and reaction videos. The podcast is primarily an entertainment and internet-culture show; its political content comes through interviews, news segments and, for a period, a dedicated politics series.
Leftovers
On September 26, 2021 Klein launched Leftovers, a political podcast co-hosted with Hasan Piker, on the H3 Podcast YouTube channel. It replaced Frenemies, a previous series that had ended in dispute. Klein described the show’s premise himself: “The spirit of this show is not serious policy debate, it is bringing righteous to justice to these sh-tbags, just clowning on idiots.” The first episode reached a million views; at the time the H3 Podcast channel had three million subscribers, with a further 1.7 million on a highlights channel.
Later Collaboration and Disagreement
Klein continued to appear with Piker in subsequent years, including a Twitch co-stream and a YouTube appearance in May 2025 that the Anti-Defamation League cites in its resource page on Piker. Klein was also among several streamers who said publicly they believed Piker had used a shock collar on his dog, following an October 2025 clip; that dispute is described on Piker’s page. This page carries no sources on the substance of their disagreement and takes no position on it.
