Nick Rochefort

Nick Rochefort is an American comedian, writer and antiques dealer, and a founding member of the sketch comedy troupe Million Dollar Extreme.

Million Dollar Extreme and World Peace

Million Dollar Extreme is a Massachusetts-based sketch troupe known for public pranks and online videos. In May 2015 Adult Swim announced a pilot order for a series from the group; on 3 March 2016 Deadline reported that the network had ordered it to series under the title “Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace.” The show starred Sam Hyde, Rochefort and Charls Carroll, was directed by Andy Ruse, and went into production that month. CBS News later described the series as created by Hyde, Carroll and Rochefort.

The show aired a six-episode first season over the summer of 2016. It drew criticism over sketches and promotional material, and in early December 2016 Adult Swim confirmed the cancellation to the trade press without issuing a formal statement. The six-episode season was the show’s entire run. The evaluative labels used in contemporaneous coverage are those publications’ characterizations, not this page’s.

Perfect Guy Life

Rochefort co-hosts Perfect Guy Life, a podcast with Sam Hyde. The show’s own feed describes it as based in Providence, Rhode Island, and covering comedy, film, pop culture, conspiracy theories, automotive topics and business, with guests including Shane Gillis, Luis J. Gomez, Dan Soder and Ryan Long. Episodes are distributed through a public RSS feed and, in fuller form, through the subscription service MDE.TV, which the feed promotes directly. The episode numbering had reached 137 by 27 December 2025.

The associated YouTube channel, created in July 2012 and carrying 588,000 subscribers as of 1 September 2026, describes itself as the official Million Dollar Extreme clips channel.

Scuffed Realtor

Rochefort co-hosts Scuffed Realtor with Alex Schultz. The show reviews viewer-submitted real-estate listings alongside commentary drawn from Rochefort’s antiques trade, and streams live on YouTube on Tuesdays at 7 PM ET from the Perfect Guy Life channel. A touring live version has been billed across US cities including San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, Eugene, Portland, Tacoma, Spokane and Long Island, with stand-up and podcast shows advertised separately on some dates. Rochefort has also been billed as a performer at the Skankfest comedy festival.

Chamonix House

Chamonix House was formed in 2016 by Rochefort and his wife Jess Rochefort. It began as a physical antiques store in rural northern Rhode Island and, after three years of trading and appearances at the Brimfield Antiques Market, moved to online-only retail in rugs, art, posters and household objects. The business states that its store was listed as “Best Eclectic Antiques” by Rhode Island Monthly in 2017; that award has not been confirmed against the magazine itself.

What Is Not Established Here

This audit removed a number of claims the previous version asserted without support.

The birth year 1984 came off the page: no record was found for it, and the Library of Congress name authority file has no entry for Rochefort. The framing of a “Formation and YouTube Era (2007-2016)” also came off — no source was found for a founding year, and Deadline and CBS News establish only that Rochefort is a founding member of the troupe.

The claim that Million Dollar Extreme’s YouTube channel was “first banned in 2013” is not supported and appears to conflate the ban with the group’s October 2013 TEDx Drexel prank, which was posted to the channel and did not result in a removal. The claim that the channel was permanently removed in May 2018 is separately documented on the timeline entry for the Adult Swim cancellation, which brackets the termination between archived captures of 11 April and 4 May 2018; those captures could not be re-verified during this pass because web.archive.org returned HTTP 503 throughout, so the claim is not restated here.

Also removed: that Rochefort and Carroll had been friends since middle school and that Hyde and Rochefort had known each other for years before the group formed; the premiere date of 5 August 2016 and the eleven-minute episode length, both of which trace only to wikis (Deadline described the series as fifteen minutes); the assertion that Scuffed Realtor began in 2022, which no source supports — the show runs on a YouTube channel created in 2012, and a separate @ScuffedRealtor channel was created on 5 June 2023 but could not be tied to Rochefort; and an unattributed followerCount of “niche following across YouTube and podcast platforms,” replaced by the one subscriber figure that could be read directly from YouTube.

A Twitter/X connection and platform entry were removed: no account could be verified, x.com does not respond to automated requests, and the previous description characterized the account as a venue where Rochefort “engages politically,” which no source supports.

Finally, the “Digital Media Significance” section was cut in full. It asserted a deplatforming-to-independence arc, an audience size, a comedic style and a business strategy, none of which was attributable to a source.
